About the Space
The Centre at Sycamore Plaza is one of TGIS Catering’s exclusive event venues and Lakewood’s premiere banquet facility. The Centre is centrally located with access to multiple freeways and convenient complimentary parking for all event guests. Since the Centre’s opening in 1985, renovations keep the facility fresh and inviting. With amenities to include over 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, state-of-the-art A/V equipment, professionally trained event technicians, and professional full-service catering and event planning, this is the perfect place to celebrate your next special occasion. Whatever the occasion, the Centre at Sycamore Plaza has exactly what you need to make your next event one to remember.
The largest of our event spaces is located on the second floor of the building and offers an elegant and spacious setting for banquets and receptions. This space features beautiful oak walls and a fifteen foot ceiling with an attached private wrap around patio. It is equipped with a theater-style video projection system, large twelve by twenty-four foot stage, electronic room divider, a variety of lighting and sound options, customizable dance floor, and an elegant bar area with granite countertop and glass shelving.
The Maple Room is the more intimate of our event spaces and is located on the first floor of the building. This room features a beautiful wood floor throughout, electronic room divider, built-in sound system, and an attached private patio perfect for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. Floor to ceiling windows let in lots of natural light during the day.
The Sycamore Room is perfect for a corporate meeting or intimate banquet. The extensive audio visual options and a room divider offer versatility for all types of events.
The Oak Room is perfect for a board meeting or working lunch, featuring a large conference table and boardroom chairs. Audio visual options can be customized to fit all of your meeting needs.
