About Events with Woodway Country Club
Woodway Country Club strives to offer the best experiences for its members from our dining, sporting facilities and member events. Our Main Clubhouse provides three newly renovated dining rooms that each have stone fireplaces encompassing a cozy intimate feel. Each dining room is handicap accessible. We have an 18-Hole Golf Course and driving range that are both popular past times for members. Throughout the spring and summer, Woodway opens its Pool and Tennis Complex. The Pool, Olympic sized, includes six twenty-five meter lanes, a twelve foot deep diving well, and a gated baby pool for the younger children to enjoy. Woodway has eight clay tennis courts and a tennis pro shop to fit the needs of all levels of tennis players. During the cooler months, Platform Tennis becomes a popular sporting activity for members to partake in. The one main draw that members have to Woodway is Woodway’s spectacular Beach Club located on Shippan Point in Stamford. The Beach Club provides lunch, dinner, member events and private events between May and October.

Hoyt Room
Our Hoyt Room, situated just off of our Main Foyer, is a wonderful multi-functional space that can be set for a meeting event of up to 28 guests with easy access to a Conference Call System and Built-In Audio/Visual Equipment. The Hoyt Room can be reserved in conjunction with our Living Room for Meeting Events, Bridal & Baby Shower Events, Cocktail Receptions and Dining Events.

The Noroton Room is the perfect setting for a Cocktail Reception of 200 Guests, Luncheon / Dinner Event for 100 Guests with access to HDMI compatible Flat Screen Monitors to project special video presentations.

The Woodway Ballroom, decorated in warm earth tones, hosts a state-of-the-art Audio/Visual system and is the largest and most versatile of Woodway’s private dining rooms. To accent the room’s beauty, a bay window looks out onto the wrap-around stone terrace with a view of the 18th green and 10th Tee. The Ballroom is an ideal location for Corporate Business Meetings, Cocktail Receptions, Fundraiser Benefits, Wedding Receptions and Private Parties from 70 to 400 Guests depending on the type of event that you are looking to host.
