About Events with Wasatch Mountain Lodge
The lodge is nestled in the Wasatch Mountain range within the Wasatch National Forest in Brighton Utah, 40 minutes outside of Salt Lake City. It rests at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 8820 feet. The Wasatch Mountain Lodge is located on National Forest Service land and allows you to enjoy the fresh mountain air in a unique one of a kind building listed on the Natural Historic Register. The interior of the building has support beams and walls made from the trees in the Wasatch Mountain National Forest. The venue can accommodate 100 people inside depending on the table arrangements and an outdoor patio can accommodate 70 guests. The furniture comfortably seats 12 people by the fireplace or in a dinner setting. A spacious kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators with freezers, two stoves with ovens, a microwave, double sink, and abundant counter and cabinet space. The lodge is positioned within a short hiking distance to Lake Mary, Lake Martha and Lake Catherine. The second floor of the building has two separate dorm size rooms for the groom and bridal parties to prepare for the event.
