About Events with Walden Hall
Inspired by Thoreau’s Walden, Walden Hall is an award-winning luxury Bed and Breakfast and event space nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Virginia. This beautiful home sits on 10 acres of rolling farmland in the tranquil countryside of Reva, Virginia; the perfect setting for a memorable wedding, large or small.Our Banquet Barn is equipped with chandeliers, ceiling fans, bistro lights and is fully wired to accommodate your lighting designs. The barn can seat up to 160 guests and we can host events of up to 200 on the property. We have several outdoor ceremony locations including an arbor by our 2-acre pond and a garden beside the house. Both have spectacular sunset views.Our Walt Whitman Wedding Suite boasts four separate rooms including a dressing room and Bridal Parlor where the Bride can watch guests assemble by the pond below for the ceremony.Gourmet breakfast made with local farm-to-table ingredients is served for overnight guests every morning in our sunny dining room, wraparound porch or in the privacy of their room.Five guest suites, ranging from 400 to 1200 square feet, feature hand-picked furniture inspired by the 19th-century poets for whom they are named. Walden Hall draws inspiration from its beautiful surroundings to inspire guests to reconnect with nature, relax and enjoy luxurious accommodation and facilities.Walden Hall is conveniently located in Culpeper County just 40 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, 10 minutes from historic Culpeper and Madison, and 90 minutes from Washington, D.C.
