About Events with Virtue Feed & Grain
Virtue Feed & Grain is a unique American Tavern in Old Town, Alexandria, located near waterfront on the corner of King & Union Streets. Hosting up to 300 guests, we offer a variety of event spaces in our historic two-story building, including our private Porch room which offers sweeping views of the Potomac, our upstairs dining room & bar / lounge area, and a full restaurant buyout. Join us for your next personal celebration or corporate party and enjoy our wide variety of menu options, from appetizer platters to custom buffets to four-course plated meals. We have AV capabilities for slideshows, presentations, and speeches, as well as the ability to play a custom playlist over our sound system.

Full Restaurant Buyout
Virtue Feed & Grain is a stunning and unique space on the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria, VA. Used as a feed house in the 1800s, the restaurant retains its historic integrity thru the use of repurposed materials and purpose, while integrating modern rustic-industrial design.
A full restaurant buyout provides exclusive use of the restaurant (with a bar, dining room and restrooms on each floor) as well as our large outdoor brick patio (April thru Oct). You are welcome to bring in a band, dj, or even your own iPod to play over our speakers. We have table seating inside for up to 175 guests with a buffet set up, not including seats in our sofa lounge or at the bars. For a cocktail reception, we can accommodate up to 300 guests. There are also an additional 50 seats on the outdoor patio.

Stage Tables
The Stage Tables are located at one end of our second level on a slightly raised platform with sheer curtains that can be pulled around the tables to create a feeling of exclusivity. Constructed using repurposed wood from the previous tenant, these custom tables are an ideal space for an intimate dinner and a popular spot for baby & wedding showers!

The Porch
Featuring warm woods and rustic brick, the Porch room's panoramic view of the Potomac River is the perfect setting for a dinner or cocktail party with a great view. Operable windows allow for a nice breeze on a beautiful day!
The wall-mounted tv can be used to display a photo slideshow or presentation, and you are welcome to bring in an iPod to play your own music over our speakers.

The Second Floor
Our second floor offers an expansive dining room with vaulted ceilings and skylights, a large full-service bar, sofa lounge, restrooms, and our Porch room overlooking the Potomac River. We have a microphone that can be used for speeches, as well as the option to display a slideshow or presentation on our tvs. There is table seating for up to about 100 guests, not including the bar and sofa lounge areas, and we can accommodate up to 175 for a cocktail reception.

The First Floor
A reservation of the first floor of the restaurant includes the exclusive use of our bar, dining room, and large outdoor brick patio (Apr - Oct) as well as private restroom facilities. The rustic modern decor features the original concrete floor (from the 1880s!), repurposed brick & wood, and playful horse heads mounted above the bar. On the first floor there is table seating for up to 70 guests with a buffet set up, and we can accommodate up to 100 guests for a cocktail party. There are an additional 50 seats on the patio.
