About Events with The Country Club of Louisiana
The Country Club of Louisiana’s Clubhouse authentically recaptures the grandeur of a Louisiana plantation mansion, with Tuscan columns soaring to a roof of green slate. Handsome French doors and casement windows with wooden shutters adorn the outside, while the walls are finished in stucco. True to antebellum tradition, all principal rooms are on the second floor. Members of the Club and their guests may choose to arrive at the porte-cochère, where valet service is available. In the lower Entrance Hall is a magnificent chandelier and marble floors. From here, a gracefully curving stairway and an elevator offer a choice of access to the second main floor. Visitors pass the 38-foot high skylight in the foyer before proceeding to the heart of the building. The front door is accessible on the second floor by our traditional split, winding staircase. Once inside, the warmth of wooden floors and a wide hallway evoke the feeling of a home in the Old South.

The Main Dining Room
This formal area has a beautiful etched glass panel at its entrance. From here, the Italian marble dance floor precedes the huge bay window with its panoramic view of our Jack Nicklaus designed golf course.

The Nicklaus Room
This space features wooden trim and paneling, plush furnishings, and a fireplace highlighted by the gleaming wooden bar. Its warm atmosphere provides a perfect location for a relaxing dining experience. This room also commands views of the golf course and access to the Board Room that is available for social or business events.

The Parlor Room
The high windows, sparkling chandelier and elegant furnishings in the Parlor create the feeling of a turn-of-the-century Louisiana parlor. A fireplace with antique black Belgian marble mantle, damask upholstered walls and original oil paintings enhances the inviting atmosphere.
