About Events with The Chopping Block - Lincoln Square
The party always starts and ends in the kitchen at Chicago's premier recreational cooking school, The Chopping Block. Our custom private cooking events bring people together over food and wine. Whether your goal is to entertain VIP clients, celebrate a family birthday or create a more cohesive corporate team, we offer a fun, educational and diverse event solution. From interactive cooking parties for all ages and skills to wine tastings and new atmospheres for business meetings, our kitchens provide the perfect venues to create a memorable experience. We host events for 6 to 90 employees, colleagues or friends at our Lincoln Square location, and you always choose your level of culinary participation. We even have an outdoor grilling patio so you can grill under the sun or stars at our Lincoln Square location. Let us get you cooking!

Eggplant
Our cozy Eggplant Kitchen accommodates up to 14 students for demonstration events and is surrounded by our retail store, the perfect backdrop to be inspired to cook. We also offer hands on events for smaller groups in this space.

Thyme
The Thyme Kitchen encompasses the entire upstairs of our building and offers a spacious and comfortable cooking experience for hands-on events.

Utilize both kitchens for the ultimate experience for your guests. They will flow between hands-on cooking upstairs and cooking demonstrations and wine tastings downstairs.

Patio
An outdoor grilling patio gives our students the chance to cook under the sun and stars. We offer both hands-on and demonstration grilling events during Chicago's spring, summer and fall. Students will learn to use both charcoal and gas grills in every outdoor event.
