About Events with Swedish American Hall + Cafe du Nord
SWEDISH AMERICAN HALLBuilt in 1907 and operating as a music venue since 2015, Swedish American Hall holds a historical significance to the city. With Café du Nord below, Swedish American Hall runs a full house of music as shown on the show calendar. It’s unique architecture lends well with some of the intimate performances by Joanna Newsom, Rilo Kiley and Bob Mould. Historically, the building has been used as a meeting place for many generations of Swedish Americans. It has old world charm, a grand ballroom and is flexible to accommodate private events.CAFE DU NORDLocated in the subterranean level of the Swedish American Hall, which was built in 1907 and officially designated a San Francisco Historic Landmark in 2015, Café du Nord has been serving San Francisco (almost) continuously since 1907. Noise Pop is working to restore that heritage and light up the room with cheering patrons once again. Du Nord will complement the musical programming already happening upstairs at the Swedish American Hall, where Noise Pop has been consistently booking shows since 2015.
