Housed in a building from the last 1800s, Southbound offers diners creative southern comfort food in a casual atmosphere. Great for a quick burger, a romantic date night, or a large celebration, Southbound is an inviting neighborhood hang-out.

The Peabody
Located on the second floor, The Peabody is our fully-private event space. It seats 70 comfortably but has a maximum capacity of 100+ for cocktail-style set-ups. The Peabody boasts its very own bar, which hails from the renowned Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN. Perfect for larger gatherings, the open expanse of the room lends itself well to a variety of functions and event designs.
Please note: Moonbird Coffee operates upstairs daily until 2:30pm, so all events must begin no earlier than 3:00pm.
There is no elevator service to the 2nd floor. Live music is permitted in this space.

The Engine Room
Located on the main floor of the restaurant, The Engine Room is wheelchair accessible and sits just off of the main dining room, overlooking the kitchen. It is flanked by floor to ceiling windows and doors, including the main patio entrance. The space can seat 24 people comfortably for traditional dining but has larger capacity for cocktail-style set-ups. Cake/gift tables are available for set-up, but presentation materials are not available in this room. If your party has opted to not meet the minimum, other guests may be seated in this area.
