About Events with Porta
Porta Philadelphia occupies a former furniture store in the heart of Center City. As with our wabi-sabi nature, we left as much of the original architecture intact as possible, restoring the beautiful plasterwork and skylights of the building, while adding a few symbolic touches of our own. With three floors of drinking and dining space, Porta is the largest restaurant in the city and has become a destination for groups large and small — after-work get-togethers, Friday night dance parties, 300-guest weddings, corporate events — or just a dinner for two. Invested with the spirit of the neighborhood and the culture of the 215, Porta Philly was quick to be known for some of the best pizza in the city (thanks Food & Wine). And yet, we're still here to learn from the Philadelphia greats: the ones who made this place what it was and what it will become. We're honored to be a part of that story.

Classic
The Classic Side, located on the main dining floor, is the perfect semi-private space with beautiful antique doors lining the walls and string lighting hung throughout. This 1900 square foot space includes a private entrance, large bar, dance floor, private restrooms, and two projectors. Ideal for corporate events, weddings, large rehearsal dinners, non-profit fundraisers, and alumni events.

Mezzanine
The mezzanine is a private space located upstairs at Porta decorated with bold portraits, graffiti art, and modern furniture. Complete with a full bar, private bathrooms, TV and projector, this 1100 square foot space is perfect for corporate events, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, after parties, and non-profit fundraisers.

Classic Bar & High Tops
The Classic Bar & High Tops is the perfect semi-private space located on the main dining floor for a small happy hour, birthday or cocktail party. The high tops serve as a great location for a casual event.
