About Events with Poppy Hills Golf
Poppy Hills opened in 1986 as the Hilltop Course and underwent an extensive renovation in March of 2013 centered around water conservation. Robert Trent Jones II design firm came back to Pebble Beach to create a firm, fast and fun course that unfolds seamlessly through the stunning Del Monte Forest. Jones reinvented the course architecturally, restoring each hole to its natural elevation along the forest floor, softening doglegs and contours, rebuilding all 18 greens with bentgrass, eliminating rough and introducing native waste areas that reduce irrigated turf by nearly 25%. The new Poppy Hills reopened April 4, 2014. Our golf course has evolved into a top 100 public golf course throughout the years and is constantly adding new services. We have grown our team substantially and now have the capability to host your next event! Whether its a birthday party, corporate event, or wedding, Poppy Hills will deliver one memorable experience for you and your group.
