As the latest addition to Oakland’s Jack London Square’s vibrant, expanding outdoor mall, plank is an exciting new restaurant, beer garden and entertainment concept. Located in a picturesque setting, overlooking the waterfront, plank is a unique Oakland experience for friends, business associates & families. With lots to do, drink and eat, plank is also the perfect place for your unique social gathering, special event, corporate meeting or team-building excursion for groups of 10 to over 1,000.With over 50,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space, plank guests have a number of options. Our sun-filled outdoor Beer Garden is equipped with over 50 tap beers, communal seating, 3 bocce courts & a variety of lawn games. Inside, guests will discover the full service restaurant, our custom 360 degree bar, 18 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, over 40 HDTVs for sports viewing & the full arcade. For the 21+ crowd, the Boardroom is your VIP experience with 6 additional lanes, 2 billiards tables, another full bar & one-of-a-kind views of the East Bay. In addition to the above, our menu features our mouth-watering chef creations and the best in various and fresh cuisine with items ranging from crab cakes and pork belly tacos, to our very own plank burger! The Ridge is lofted above the arcade and is the most accessible event space! It boasts private access to the Beer Garden, I direct staircase to the arcade, view of the Jack Long Square Lanes and a private deck that overlooks the Oakland Estuary. And the Ridge has shuffle board!
