With its soaring 55,000-square-foot WADE THOMPSON DRILL HALL—reminiscent of 19th-century European train stations—and array of exuberant period rooms, the Armory offers a new platform for creativity across all art forms.
Having served as the former home of the Seventh Regiment, Park Avenue Armory has transformed into a groundbreaking cultural institution that blurs the boundaries between high art and pop culture.

The Armory’s Drill Hall
A magnificent space with latticework truss and soaring dimensions, reminiscent of one of the great 19th Century train sheds of Europe. With approximately 38,000 square feet or useable space, it is one of the City’s largest column-free spaces and has hosted not only drills but music festivals, concerts, benefit dinners, balls, theatrical events, and fashion shows. The use of the drill hall is only limited by your imagination.
