The newly-opened facility, located in an historic building in Chicago’s bustling River North neighborhood, offers four chic environments, talented chefs and warm and polished service staff. The event planning team will make sure that every detail is pitch perfect for your corporate or social event. There are three floors of food, wine and fun to explore!
Choose from our a la carte dinner menu, featuring delicious Continental cuisine from France, Italy and Spain, and the still and sparkling wines that pair perfectly…think coquilles St. Jacques, bistecca alla Fiorentina and paella Valencia with your favorite Champagne, Chianti Classico or Tempranillo.
Or, chose from one of our custom menus for buffets or seated lunches or dinners. We can craft a signature cocktail to highlight your firm or you can choose from any of the wine on our carefully curated list. We can bring in specialty spirits for a luxe event and offer heirloom quality dishware and table linens to make your table top settings perfect. Looking for high energy fun? Inspired by the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, the Art Deco-leaning Marchesa first floor is a calming venue for a variety of spectacular buy-out events. With a dramatic brass back bar, shagreen bar top and malachite fabric curtains and bar stools, the Main Dining Salon can accommodate 150 for cocktails and 100 for seated events. Perch in front of the marble fireplace, surrounded by grisaille wallpaper in a room filled with elegant artwork by Picasso, Gris and Miro. Flooded with light during the day and candlelit at night, this beautiful room, open daily for lunch and dinner, can be rented out exclusively for your next special event.
Named after noted French epicure Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin and known for it’s picture window overlooking the Marchesa kitchen, the intimate Savarin Room seats from 4 to 12 guests for lunch and dinner events. Framed by brass bamboo chandeliers and a malachite ceiling, this chic nook features a Chinoiserie cabinet filled with rare spirits. The Savarin Room, private but with the bustle of a busy restaurant kitchen, offers a look at Marchesa’s nightly culinary show. A curated collection of china, glassware and flatware allows different moods and themes to be created included in the price of dinner.
Our Champagne and wine cellar, with a boho-chic travel vibe, offers lounge or table seating for 24, 50 for cocktails. The truly unique space, complete with barrel-vaulted ceilings, offers velvet sofas and luxuriously upholstered furniture, a limestone fireplace and hidden media wall perfect for movie night parties or showing corporate training videos. Private bar, wine vault, lounge seating and separate kitchen mean your event will be exclusive and the food, whether light bites or a multi-course feast, will be well-executed and delicious!
Modeled after a luxe Parisian pied-a-terre, The Apartment boasts silk damask drapes, hand-stenciled walls, antique furniture and a baby grand piano. Perfect for an afternoon lunch or candlelight dinner with accommodations for 2-50 seated or 75 for cocktails. A private kitchen ensures that all food, whether buffet or multi-course, is prepared fresh and served at the proper temperature. The petit courtyard, ringed in lattice, is a year round oasis. Choose from several chair, linen and tabletop accessories to create a bespoke look for your event.
