About Events with Lafayette
Lafayette is located in an iconic landmark NoHo building originally designed by Henry J. Hardenbergh and offers multiple options for private dining as detailed below. Our market-driven bistro menu is a worldly homage to French cuisine, offering a re-mastery of traditional dishes we love as well as Chef Andrew Carmellini’s signatures.Lafayette offers two private dining rooms to accommodate parties of 8-200, as well as the opportunity to book buyouts of the restaurant for up to 500 guests. Our event program features custom, chef-designed menus and personalized service from a team of event planning professionals.

Full Restaurant Buyout
Buyouts of Lafayette’s two level landmark building restaurant are classic and memorable occasions. Celebrations may include cocktail hour in our iconic outdoor cafe prior to a sumptuous multi-course dinner in our glowing dining room, followed by live music and dancing downstairs in our Cave du Vin.

Cave du Vin
The Cave du Vin includes a dedicated bar, dedicated events kitchen, private coat check and its own private restrooms. Located on the lower level, our Cave du Vin evokes a large wine cellar in a warm and inviting private home.

The Salle Privée, is a small private dining room on the street level behind the elegant main dining room bar. The Salle Privée includes dedicated staff, audio-visual capabilities with an enclosed flat screen TV, and space for mingling or a gift table.
