About Events with Journeyman Distillery
Located in Southwest Michigan, Journeyman Distillery has made its home in the historic Featherbone Factory. Artfully remodeled in 2010 by Johanna and Bill Welter, the historic Featherbone Factory was established by E.K. Warren in 1883. An ardent prohibitionist, Warren revolutionized the manufacturing of ladies' corsets and buggy whips. Today, his building blends modern conveniences with rustic charm to include three event spaces, an organic & kosher distillery, a restaurant, and a 30,000 square foot putting green.

The Grainery
Located on the second floor, The Grainery offers bird’s-eye views of our working production floor and state-of-the-art Kothe distilling equipment. A gorgeous copper bar, historic freight elevator shaft, and floor to ceiling windows imbue this unique space with unbeatable ambiance.

The Flat

Warren Hall - Ceremony & Reception
An expansive space on our second floor, Warren Hall blends a rustic aesthetic with modern amenities. This room can accommodate events both big and small! Our beautifully aged flooring was custom milled from reclaimed wood to evoke the building’s original factory floors. Tall windows run the length of Warren Hall, showering the room with incredible natural light. Old-school fixtures above the bar were constructed from original factory lights. The special touches in this space ensure your event will be truly one-of-a-kind!

Welter's Folly
Relax and unwind (or plan a friendly competition) on our 30,000 square foot, 18-hole putting green. Featuring dramatic mounding inspired by the famous Himalayan putting green in St. Andrews, Scotland, your guests will go home with a souvenir golf ball and (possibly) bragging rights.

The Still Room
This unique space takes its name from the expansive gallery glass wall providing a view of our original still where our organic spirits are made. Exposed ceiling and support beams enhance the rustic warehouse feel of the space, which includes private access to an outdoor patio that overlooks our Welter’s Folly putting green.

Bridal Suite
Our gorgeous private suite provides a personal space where the wedding party can relax and prepare. This luxe hideaway is perfect for first-look photos or as a separate lounge offering private access for you and select guests throughout the night! Located on the second floor, the room includes a small balcony space. The Suite is rented on a first come, first served basis.
