Beveridge Landmark Events building is located in the heart of downtown Medicine Hat on Second Street. The 18,000 square foot building is divided into three main rental spaces. The charm and character of our historic building and downtown Medicine Hat makes Beveridge Landmark Events building a unique choice for your special occasion.For larger gatherings, we have The Ballroom on the top most floor, approximately 3330 square feet of space with a capacity of 200 (dependent on usage and seating requirements). It features high ceilings, original pressed metal ceiling, crystal chandeliers and original hardwood flooring. The beautiful amethyst prism glass windows provide a unique lighting feature.Dine and dance the night away in the elegant Murano Room. The 4800 square foot space, with a capacity of 300 (dependent on usage and seating requirements), features a mezzanine that surrounds the room’s main floor. Spectacular Italian chandeliers, original pressed metal ceiling, wood columns and hardwood floors, stunning carpeting and an outstanding historic staircase (fantastic for photos) are just some of the features of this space.Offering a more intimate setting, The Cellar is the perfect space for smaller gatherings. This 1850 square foot space provides with a capacity of 100 (dependent on usage and seating requirements) with its original red brick columns and warm, inviting atmosphere.The rental facility includes all necessary amenities you will need for your successful event, including two studios for private bridal party use, prep catering kitchens and bars for each room, sound system, spectacular lighting and set-up (tables and chairs, raised platform).Beveridge Landmark Events building is suited to host a variety of events, including:

The Ballroom
The Ballroom offers stylish distinction to events of all types. Dine and dance the night away in the 3330 square foot room with original hardwood floors, and a stunning view of downtown Medicine Hat. The majestic floor to ceiling windows include original amethyst prism transom glass which bounces light deep into the room so you can take advantage of natural light. The pressed metal ceiling has been rejuvenated and the custom coloured LED lighting and tasteful crystal chandeliers throughout the space which add a touch of glamour.
The Ballroom boasts a catering staging area, a large cloak room and dedicated washrooms. The perimeter of the room is wrapped with picture rail to enhance the room with decorations as desired. A state-of-the-art sound system plus three projectors with retractable screens that are easily seen from any vantage point complete the space. The Ballroom is easily accessible via the elevator from the main rear lobby as well as to the private Studios one floor below. There is an additional entrance on Second Street with digital signage to direct guests to the correct room.

Murano Room - main floor only
The original historic grand staircase provides the ideal opportunity for unique photos or an extraordinary entrance. The 4000 square foot, two story street level venue includes a coat room, private washrooms and a bar on each floor. Digital signage directs guests from the main lobby. The entire first and second floor is wrapped with picture rail for ease of decorating. As with all the spaces at Beveridge Landmark Events, The Murano Room has a state-of-the-art sound system and zone-specific light dimmers. The main floor houses three color-corrected projectors that stream onto the walls.
The main floor is surrounded by a beautifully carpeted mezzanine with glass railing, luxurious soft seating, and large airy windows that overlook historic Second Street. The remarkable pressed metal ceiling, with original corner cherubs, is a soft backdrop for the spectacular Italian Murano Glass chandeliers

Studio 1
The Studio rooms are a luxurious addition to any event. The beautifully decorated rooms offer a private space for the guest or guests of honor to prepare, or retire from their event. Perfect as a get ready space for a wedding or a green room for a musical act. There are sofas and soft seating for lounging as well as a sound system compatible with any mp3 for a customized playlist.
Studio 1 is comfortable for 12-15 and has a private powder room.

Studio 2
