Fabio Trabocchi is meticulous about his cooking – from the sourcing of ingredients, to the butchering of meat, to the Italian traditions that are the foundation of his dishes. This attention to detail is, in turn, evident in his extensive knowledge of Italy’s culinary heritage, skillful techniques and creative imagination.Fabio Trabocchi’s seafood restaurant, Fiola Mare, opened in February 2014 in Georgetown’s Washington Harbour, offering world-class dining and hospitality complete with an enchanting view of the Potomac River.

Mermaid Room
The Mermaid Room is adjacent to our Main Bar and features floor to ceiling lanai doors revealing a view of the Key Bridge, the Potomac River and serene Georgetown Waterfront Park. Opening the lanai doors expands the Mermaid Room into a room with a private patio for lounge seating with cocktails and appetizers.

Panerai Room

Marea Room
Our largest private room, located just off the main dining room, is perfect for corporate or congressional dinners, as well as family and social events and celebrations. It can be made fully private using our floor to ceiling cabana doors and features a dramatic image of the Panerai yacht, Eilean, upon entrance of the room.

Beautifully appointed but cozy and laid back, our Bar Piccolo ("small" in Italian) is a great semi-private space for a sit-down dinner or cocktail reception. Featuring its very own bar and private entrance, it also has a beautiful view of the Potomac and Kennedy Center. Bar Piccolo is also the home of our popular Speakeasy nights, a periodic celebration of Prohibition era cocktails, which can be customized for any event.
