Our chef will demonstrate 4 dishes for the class to enjoy and dishes will be perfectly paired with 4 wines. The chef will demonstrate how to create each dish, step-by-step, and a sommelier will lead a tasting of each wine. Guests can take home menus, adapted recipes, and tasting notes. La Scuola - Hands-on Class
Just like running a business, running a kitchen requires teamwork! Private semi-hands-on cooking classes at La Scuola are excellent teambuilding exercises for groups of up to 20 guests. Groups can choose either a fresh pasta, gnocchi, or pizza class. Each class includes a hands-on component during which guests will try their hand at making the pasta, gnocchi, or pizza, while the Chef of La Scuola prepares their meal. This meal will be paired with 3 wines or beers, chosen and explained by our Sommelier. Guests take home menus, wine/beer tasting notes, and adapted recipes. Classes run approximately 2 hours in length.

La Birreria is our rooftop restaurant and microbrewery that offers the highest quality craft beer, wine, cocktails, and food under the skyline and stars. Don’t worry about the weather: our retractable roof and heaters keep us open in all seasons – rain, shine, or snow! Each season, La Birreria is our rooftop restaurant and microbrewery that offers the highest quality craft beer, wine, cocktails, and food under the skyline and stars. This is the largest single space within Eataly that can accommodate a private event with a maximum of 125 seated guests or 175 standing guests. We offer A/V capabilities for recorded music and space for a DJ or live band. Our retractable glass rooftop makes La Birreria an ideal location for events throughout the year, even in the event of inclement weather. Menus are tailored to the specific event to include a selection of Birreria’s favorite dishes using only the best, seasonal ingredients and a full open bar. La Birreria is our rooftop restaurant and microbrewery that offers the highest quality craft beer, wine, cocktails, and food under the skyline and stars. Don’t worry about the weather: our retractable roof and heaters keep us open in all seasons – rain, shine, or snow! Each season, La Birreria hosts a new popup restaurant with a different cultural phenomenon imported from Italy. For groups of 11-30 guests, we offer a group dining package which reserves 1-2 tables together within the open dining room and includes an ample prix fixe menu which is served family style. These reservations can be booked as far as 90 days in advance, up to 2 weeks prior to the date of the event. Last seating for dinner is at 7pm and your group will be allotted 3 hours from start to finish. Please contact the Education & Events team for further pricing and menu information.

Eataly’s SABBIA, by La Birreria, features inspiration from the Italian seaside with coastal food and drink, so why not soak in the sun and transport your guests from the hot pavement of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue to the borders of the Italian coastline in our VIP Cabana Space? Join us for your next lunch or dinner in this semi-private area for an exclusive and unique dining experience! This space features two cabanas and lounge space all for you and your guests, located in our rooftop restaurant and microbrewery that offers the highest quality craft beer, wine, cocktails, and food under the skyline and stars. Whether you choose our seated family-style lunch or dinner or standing reception, you’ll enjoy a menu which celebrates both land and sea, and a drink menu that celebrates a sea-worthy selection of signature cocktails–including our favorite pink drink rosé and housemade frosé–and a selection of beers and wines. Please note the cabana area is exclusive to your group for the duration of your event. This is not a fully private accommodation as the cabanas are located within our open dining room. All dishes will be served family style. Reservations available Monday to Sunday. All reservations are based on availability.

A business breakfast at Eataly is a casual dining experience which includes a delicious Italian-inspired breakfast and use of our private room, La Scuola Grande. With storefront windows facing 23rd Street, La Scuola accommodates 34 guests and comes fully equipped with A/V capabilities for use of its two televisions and microphones. Reservations take place between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. La Scuola Grande is the perfect environment to hold a morning meeting or presentation, Eatalian-style!

La Scuola - Chef's Table or Dinner Format
With storefront windows facing 23rd Street, La Scuola Grande is home to our cooking school. During your private Chef’s Table dinner, which accommodates up to 34 guests, your group can observe as our chefs prepare a meal in our open kitchen. Along the way, they will present and discuss each course as guests dine at a communal table. The seasonal menu for your evening is proposed by the chefs of La Scuola and wines are paired and selected by our sommelier. A 30-minute standing aperitivo can be added to the beginning of your event and includes salumi & formaggi and 1 sparkling wine.
