About Events with Doug Fir Lounge
For a truly unique and memorable experience, host your private party at the Doug Fir! Based on availability, you may rent the Lounge located downstairs, the Fireplace Room or Horseshoe booth, which are both located in our South Bar area. We also offer rentals of our entire South Bar, full Patio, Fire Pit and Back Porch areas. Work with our in-house Chefs to create fresh and seasonal menus, and enjoy our modern bar program with culinary and molecular twists. We have the makings of a great event all under one roof. We’d love to show you around and help you plan your party!

Doug Fir Lounge
Our Lounge is a truly unique and memorable space to host your private event; featuring a stage that has seen national talent such as The Shins, Fleet Foxes, Vampire Weekend and Hot Chip. Come celebrate in a space that has hosted such talent and be a part of an exclusive Portland experience. This is an excellent multi-use space ideal for wedding receptions, business meetings, presentations and company parties. Accommodates 299 standing, 125 seated. Availability is always based on the Doug Fir Lounge show calendar, so please do reach out to us ahead of time.

Fireplace Room
Offering a cozy and intimate gathering space for any occasion, the Fireplace Room accommodates 30 people in a standing reception style event, or 20 for a seated event. Booking this space secures the most coveted real estate in our bar. Best for birthdays, showers, receptions and social gatherings.

The Back Porch
Attached to the Fireplace Room, this space is perfect for an extension, allowing guests to flow from the Fireplace Room to the smaller heated area just outside on our covered patio. It extends the seating area by 10-15 and standing room by 20.

The Horseshoe
The Horseshoe is the perfect way to guarantee a spot for you and your guests in the bar on busy nights. This cozy U-shaped wrap around booth is excellent for hosting up to 15 of your closest for birthday gatherings, bachelorette parties, or any occasion where you need a small area to call your own. Seats 12-15 guests comfortably.

The Patio
This beautiful outdoor space offers a rustic feel with the exterior logs, bamboo wall and fire pits. It is ideal for wedding receptions, birthdays, company parties, and bridal or baby showers. Keep the custom-made wooden bench seating or create your own floor plan. This space even has a photobooth! Accommodates 80 standing or 50 seated.

Tucked in our back patio, you’ll have a semi private area separated by a natural wall of bamboo. On a clear evening you’ll even get sunset views.

South Bar
South bar is a versatile space that includes the Fireplace Room, The Horseshoe and The Patio. This is a comfortably curated space that would be perfect to host your special event. Accommodating 150 standing or 90 seated.
