About Events with City Theater & Hockeytown Cafe
Hockeytown Cafe’s new Celebration Room is a popular option for private events and parties for up to 120 guests. Located on the second floor and featuring almost life-size rare photos from the players’ Stanley Cup celebrations, the Celebration Room is available for private group arrangements of 50 or more.

The Roof

The third floor of Hockeytown Cafe, known as The Roof, includes both an indoor and outdoor seating area, with a spectacular view of the entire Foxtown Area, including Comerica Park. Outdoors offers additional space. The Roof is available for private functions (although availability and fees will vary on event/game days.) Hockeytown Cafe can also provide a DJ for an additional charge.

When the weather is warm, our outdoor patio area, located just off the first floor mezzanine, is available for rental and perfect for summer barbeques! Hockeytown Cafe also offers the option of renting a tent to cover all or a portion of the patio area for an additional charge.
