About Events with CIC@4240
CIC St. Louis is located in the entrepreneurial nirvana between the Central West End and The Grove. We are home to three buildings worth of conference and event space, offering flexible seating, ample resources, and updated facilities. We balance innovation with the rich history of St. Louis in our both of our large event spaces. Formerly the Doris Motor Company, The Showroom at CET is named after the venue’s original purpose - to showcase new car makes and models. The Showroom has space for 44 guests classroom-style or 66 lecture-style and still dons it’s original brick walls. The room’s built-in projector (with laser pointer and clicker), wireless microphone, adjustable lighting panel, and sound system is framed by the building’s original metalwork. Constructed in 1948, 4240 still holds remnants of it’s original architecture as a telephone manufacturing factory. Havana at 4240 holds 100 guests lecture-style or 80 classroom-style. It also has a whiteboard wall, open wifi networks, a built-in projector and screen (clicker with laser pointer available), podium and wireless microphone, adjustable lighting, and a sound system.
