Chehalem Cultural Center
The Chehalem Cultural Center is a non-profit cultural arts organization housed in a newly renovated 1930’s brick schoolhouse. Interior spaces range from small meeting rooms to a mid-sized lobby and gallery space, to a 5,200 square foot ballroom. Available outdoor space includes Carnegie Court, a grassy area across the street, and the Forecourt in front of our building. The street between can also be rented for large public or vendor events.
The crown jewel of the Chehalem Cultural Center is the Central Grand Ballroom which offers a warm and inviting, yet highly functional space with no obstructive pillars to restrict setup options. This distinctive venue is accented with reclaimed brick and wood from the original building, polished concrete floors and modern lighting fixtures.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Newberg, the Chehalem Cultural Center is steps away from parks, galleries, restaurants, and some of the finest wine tasting in the region. Our event staff is excited to meet you and begin planning your next meeting or corporate event.
