About Events with Casa Rio
Thank you for your interest in having your special event at Casa Rio! We feature 3 beautiful private event spaces to include The Texas Room, The Rio Room and The Veranda, as well as river barge options. Each space is unique in style and size, and we are confident that we have the perfect space to fit your vision. From weddings to birthday parties to corporate luncheons and more, our spaces are ideal for any occasion.

The Bridge
This is an outdoor area that is on the edge of the riverwalk. It is only available for a seated party as there is a public walkway next to the tables.

Veranda
The Veranda is Casa Rio’s original private party room. Adorned with colorful Mexican tapestries and sparkling lights, the Veranda is a festive location for your celebration. The windows provide a floor to ceiling view of the Riverwalk, allowing your guest the feeling of being outdoors with the comforts of indoors. The Veranda is also available for semi-pri-vate functions to accommodate smaller groups.

Barge dining
Barges are available to rent from Go Rio Cruises, 210-227-4746. Once the barge is rented, Casa Rio will help you plan a unique dining experience on a dinner barge.

Rio
With its brightly colored walls and historical pictures, this space is sure to be a hit with your guests. The Rio Room also features a pressed tin ceiling with French doors that open to balcony that overlooks the beautiful river walk and our colorful umbrellas.

La Casita
This space is inside of our main dining room and is part of the original building that was a Spanish Colonial Era hacienda dating back to the late 1700s.

Texas
The Texas Room is Casa Rio’s largest party room. Beautifully adorned with early Texas décor, a pressed tin ceiling and a 26 foot long Old World style solid old bar, and neutral walls this room is a lovely setting and blank slate for any event.

The Texas and Rio rooms can be combined as they are adjacent to each other with a reception area nestled in between the two spaces.
