Butter Restaurant offers its Gallery, Great room, and Birch Room spaces for special events seven days a week, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each of Butter's dining spaces offers a unique atmosphere and decor. Between The Great Room- a bright, airy dining room located on the main floor, The Birch Room- a relaxed dining space suggestive of an intimate ski chalet, and The Gallery Lounge - an arched promenade serving as a destination for meeting and socializing, Butter caters to any guest, whether they are seeking either a formal dining experience or one that is more casual. A built-in DJ booth in the Birch Room offers state-of-the-art sound, and Butter accommodates any audiovisual needs, as well as a satellite DJ booth in the Great Room.

OVERALL SPACE: Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and restaurateurs Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva team up again for their second venture, Butter Midtown. Located at 70 West 45th St., Butter Midtown showcases Guarnaschelli’s seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine in a stylish setting. In addition to composed small and large plates, the 175-seat restaurant (with 60 additional outdoor seats and a 20-seat private dining room), features a raw bar and house made charcuterie offerings.
The American restaurant is helmed by Food Network star and Executive Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, who uses greenmarket offerings to create a signature menu. Butter began as Guarnaschelli’s first restaurant as Executive Chef, and she has gone on to create a following for herself worldwide.
