About Events with Boone's Fish House & Oyster Room
HistorySince 1898, Boone’s has been a landmark seafood restaurant, and popular beacon to Portland locals and visitors from around the world. Boone’s is located on Custom House Wharf in the Old Port district of downtown Portland. The historic dining destination is recognized as the birthplace of the Baked Stuffed Lobster—created by Alexander Boone. After the longstanding Maine family business had closed for a few years, Boone’s Fish House & Oyster Room was introduced in 2013 by Darcy Smith O’Neil, who undertook a year-long comprehensive renovation of the historic building. For Darcy, a seasoned Portland restaurateur, reinventing Boone’s was a labor of love; she has fond childhood memories of enjoying Boone's clams and chowder as she and her grandfather, who lived on Peaks Island, made their way to catch the ferry.Event VenueBoone’s Fish House & Oyster Room has several options just perfect for what you have in mind, including weddings, holiday parties and business events.
