Big Rock Creek is a historic estate located near St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. With almost 1,000 acres and a massive barn built from railroad timbers, this private estate offers a charming, rustic atmosphere for you and your loved ones to bask in for your wedding day.Facilities and CapacityBig Rock Creek offers their barn for indoor weddings, with room for up to 500 guest. The estate boasts 23 miles of trails and a private trout pond.Services OfferedWedding events that can be held at Big Rock Creek include engagement parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, elopements, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Wedding packages begin with setup, onsite parking, chairs, and tables. Event items available include an altar/arch, audio equipment, furniture, lighting, tents, and tent accessories. Additional wedding services offered include all-inclusive packages, accommodations, bar services, outside vendor referrals, and cleanup.CuisineBar service is available at Big Rock Creek for your special day. This includes bartenders, house beer, house wine, and house liquor. Outside vendors are available for food catering.AccommodationThe estate includes the Clubhouse, Elroy's Place, and the Siems' Family Cabin available for rent, and can thus accommodate up to 24 guests onsite. The turn of the century Clubhouse is the largest lodging building with four bedrooms and sleeping ten. Elroy’s Place can host up to nine guest, while the Siems' Family Cabin can host five.Other ServicesIn addition to weddings, Big Rock Creek is also available to host other special events and celebrations. These include corporate events, family reunions, hunting and fishing trips, and vacations.HistoryBig Rock Creek Trout Farm was purchased in 1914 by a group of businessmen, including the Siems brothers. In the early 1920’s, the Siems brothers were involved in building railroads locally, and bought out the other owners. The farm would not change ownership again for almost a century.LocationBig Rock Creek is located near the St. Croix River, and is a short drive from nearby outdoor activities. These include state parks, snowmobile trails, hunting and fishing, wineries, and breweries.
