About Events with Beecher's Handmade Cheese & The Cellar
LOFT
Occupancy:30 standing, 24 seated
Description:The Loft is our entirely private space overlooking our cheese production facility. This space can function both as a place for a private seated dinner or an intimate cocktail reception and will feature your own private bar and bartender at no extra cost. The space also has customizable A/V and temperature control capabilities. The Loft can accommodate up to 30 guests reception style or 24 guests seated.
STREET LEVEL LOUNGE (CAFÉ)
Occupancy: 70 without Loft, 100 with Loft
Description for guest: The Street Level Lounge normally functions as our public café, cheese shop and happy hour bar, but can also be booked out for private events. This space is incredibly interactive, providing your guests with a full view into our cheese production facility and open concept kitchen. With our cow-hide lined booths, industrial décor, 30+ foot ceilings and direct views of Broadway, the Street Level Lounge gives a trendy and open atmosphere. Due to the expansive layout of the space, there is a lot of room for creativity and can host up to 100 people.
CHEESEMONGERS CORNER
Occupancy: 20-30 standing / 10-15 seated
Description for guest: The Cheesemonger’s Corner is located within our Street Level Lounge and Café. It’s a very interactive space with cowhide lined booths and direct views into our cheese production facility. This space has a guest occupancy of 30 making it one of our most popular event spaces. It’s right in the hustle and bustle of the café, so if you’re looking for a more lively area, this would be your spot.
ALCOVE
Occupancy: 20 standing
Description for guest:The Alcove is a semi private space situated in our newly remodeled Street Level Lounge. It is ideal for social gatherings and happy hour meet ups with soaring window views of Broadway and a look into our cheese production facility. The space can accommodate up to 20 guests, giving you direct access to the bar and features generous table space.
THE CELLAR
Occupancy: 40-100
Description for guest:The Cellar is our subterranean restaurant and bar with lounge sections near the bar and comfortable booth seating around the perimeter of the room. It is intimately lit by candles, and features cow-hide lined lounges and brick walls that provide a trendy, yet cozy atmosphere. The Cellar is great for groups of 40 or more, and can hold up to 100 people standing with room for dancing.
THE COWS
Occupancy: 18-20 reception style / 14 seated
Description for guest: The Cows is our lounge section located just off the right of our subterranean Cellar bar. This semi-private area is perfect for casual meet and greets or an evening of cocktails and small plates with friends or coworkers. With its intimate candle lit lighting and cozy cow-hide lined lounges, the Cows is one of our most popular spaces.
COMMUNITY TABLE
Occupancy: 14 (seated only – no standing room)
Description for guest: The Community Table is our long rustic farm table in the center of our subterranean Cellar restaurant and can feel as casual or formal as you need it to be. It’s perfect for casual drinks and bites or a full seated dinner. The maximum occupancy for this table is 14.
