What makes Arizona Nordic Village such a special venue?
The Arizona Nordic Village is an off-grid getaway. The Village is quiet and serene, surrounded by tall ponderosa pine and aspen trees. Our goal is to have as little impact as possible on the environment while also providing a comfortable and safe setting for campers and guests.
In the summer months of July through August you’ll find that the grass is green and the flowers are plenty. In the winter you’ll no doubt see a lot of snow. The monsoons bring your wedding good luck, and the sun brings warmth and smiles to all. Whether a butterfly in the summer or a wild turkey in the winter, you’ll be surrounded by friendly wildlife everywhere you go.
Your guests will be comfortable in their cabin or yurt with the following amenities included in your fee:
water jug for dousing your fire
sleeping pads for up to 4
chairs (2 in the yurts, 4 in the cabins)
food storage container
lighter, hatchet, matches, paper towels, toilet paper, and more
Included in the overnight package is lodging for up to 36 people in our rustic cabins and yurts. We have four cabins and three yurts located in the front country, about 100 feet away from the lodge and center for wedding activity.
Each cabin is equipped with one bunk bed with twin sleeping pads, and one double bed with sleeping pad provided. Four people sleep comfortably in the cabins. Each yurt is equipped with two sleeping pads that rest on the floor of the yurt, four people sleep cozy in these yurts, two is comfortable. In all units you’ll find a wood burning stove in which to keep warm in the colder summer, spring and winter months.
Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and Other Events
For your ceremony, you have a choice between our two beautiful arches: the Meadow Arch or the Aspen Arch. We’ll provide chairs for up to 100 people. If you’re planning to have a larger wedding and need more than 100 chairs, there is an additional fee.
Electricity during the ceremony area is not included, but a power generator is available for an additional fee.
Our 70′ x 30′ pavilion tent is perfect for small or large events and has accommodated up to 290. The pavilion tent is most commonly used for the reception portion of the wedding. Included in the overnight package is the setup of up to twenty-five 60″ round tables, fifteen 8′ rectangular tables, and ten 6′ rectangular tables. Linens not provided.
Our 30′ large yurt with wooden flooring, used in the winter as our ski rental shop, is the perfect dance floor for a wedding. The yurt comes standard with walls on for all events (as seen in picture), however you may request to have the windows and sections of the wall to be rolled up for a day with good weather.
The lodge is open 24/7 for use of indoor restrooms and showers.
The Ponderosa Room is a favorite place for the bridal party to get ready. Conveniently located upstairs in the lodge, it makes for many great photo opportunities of the bridal party, as well as a great place for the bride and groom to stay the night.
Our charming 20-site tent campground, nestled underneath the ponderosa pine, is perfect for your wedding guests who want to stay overnight. Vehicles cannot be parked in the tent campground, but the parking lot is less than 200 feet away from the campground and makes for easy access. The tent campground is equipped with two centrally located communal fire rings, two barbecues, and two picnic tables.
