About Events with 701 Whaley
701 Whaley is a lovingly restored historic building that once served as the community center for the local Mill Village and is now a popular event venue. With multiple and spacious rooms, this 1903 building offers our guests many options. The Grand Hall is our largest space and features the Grand Staircase, floor to ceiling windows, the famous "wall", and original columns. The Granby Room has an impressive glass storefront, original columns, and a touch of historic charm. The Olympia Room on the second floor stuns with hardwood floors and large windows that let lovely light in. The Market Space is located in a separate building with a large covered front porch for indoor and outdoor fun. Phase two of the restoration of the site will offer a historic above-ground tiled pool that will boast a glass floor, a new lobby, and large skylights.
