[Wedding Wednesday] Tips on Outdoor Weddings by Pink Cloud 9

    May 1, 2013

The wedding planning experts at Pink Cloud 9 are here to give you 5 expert tips on how to have the perfect outdoor wedding.

    1. Consider renting a mic and speakers if your guest count for the ceremony itself is over 30 people. You need to make sure your family can hear those vows!

    2. Keep guests hydrated by providing drinks before the ceremony starts.

    3. Can’t have too many signs! If the outdoor wedding venue permits, be sure to hang numerous signs up leading guests from the designated parking area to the ceremony/reception. Other handy signs include restrooms, food and beverage stations and scenic viewpoints.

    4. Avoid littering fines by making sure there are enough if any trashcans and recycle bins near your ceremony and reception site. These can be rented if not.

    5. It’s important to always factor in what the weather will be like the day of the wedding. Ask the venue manager what time of issues different weather brings. Often times, bringing in 2-3 stand up heaters can save guests from freezing during an evening reception during April Showers or June Gloom.

We hope these expert tips help you pull off the perfect outdoor big day. The Pink Cloud 9 team wants your wedding day to go off without a hitch. (or raindrop)
