    450 West 15th St.
    New York, N.Y. 10011

Mashable's annual New York City Social Media Day event is expected to be one of the biggest social media events of the year. Mashable is a leading source for news, information and resources for the Connected Generation. The website reports on the importance of digital innovation and how it empowers and inspires people around the world. Mashable's 25 million monthly unique visitors and 10 million social media followers have become one of the most engaged online news communities.

This year Mashable is partnering with media companies VICE and Milk to host the large-scale event. VICE is a leading global youth media company that operates an original online video destination, VICE.COM, an international network of digital channels, a television production studio, a magazine, a record label, an in-house creative services agency, and a consumer insights and research services department. The event will be hosted at Milk, a photography studio recognized as one of the most preeminent event venues in NYC.

While the Social Media Day of Reckoning is not specifically for the event planning industry, it will focus on how social media has impacted the different worlds touched by Mashable, Vice, and Milk. The crowd will be a dynamic mix of creatives, artists and tech-savvy individuals. The event is free to attend but is on a first-come, first-served basis.
