    The Programs Manager is responsible for the successful execution of multiple USO programs and partnerships that serve the needs of America’s troops and their families. Responsibilities include: manage full-cycle program/event management process for assigned projects, including but not limited to ensuring that goals are clearly established and documented, recruiting for program participants, defining success, tracking of program outcomes, coordinating program/event promotion and publicity, on-site leadership and coordination as well as financial, and inventory tracking and reporting.

    An opening is available for an Events Manager to work closely with legal staff, marketing/business development team members and vendors to plan and execute successful marketing events across the firm. The Events Manager will be responsible for managing all event logistics, including budget preparation, speaker engagements, catering and audiovisual needs, and other related items. Requirements include a minimum of three years of marketing and business development experience, a minimum of three years of event management experience, project management skills, and the ability to travel locally and nationally to firm events.

    The Meetings and Events intern will gain experience in event planning in a variety of forms, specifically through working on Americans for the Arts national events. Depending on the applicable semester, interns will work on events such as the National Arts Awards, Annual Convention, National Arts Marketing Project Conference and Arts Advocacy Day. Working closely with all members of the meeting and events team, the intern will assist with website updates, meeting and event research projects, event logistics, and administrative tasks. Depending on the semester, the intern may also have the opportunity to work with staff during an event for onsite logistical experience.

    POLITICO seeks two Events Associates to support the Events Department on the planning and production of high-profile, newsworthy event programs for the organization, support logistics for all POLITICO events, such as attendee identification, accommodation and transportation for participants, audio-visual equipment, catering, etc., and assist with the execution of the Event Marketing Plan and manage all event guest lists and RSVPs.
