    Manage, organize and coordinate Visa’s participation in tradeshows, seminars, meetings and special events. Typical meetings include staff meetings (small and large-scale), Client Meetings, Board Meetings and other Industry Trade events. Candidate will be highly involved with site selection, hotel negotiations, contracting, budgeting, program planning and development, vendor selection, research, registration, program implementation and onsite management. The candidate will act as a professional meeting planning consultant offering guidance, creative solutions and assistance to various Visa departments on all aspects of meetings management. Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License and must be able to facilitate local, domestics and international meeting programs, as required. Must possess in-depth knowledge of how events compliment a brand and understand how events align with the overall marketing & communications strategy of a global organization.


    Event Director – Freeman Co (Apply Here)

     

    The Event Director will build, lead and mentor the career growth for the experience marketing operations organization. Participate in the overall planning for the event management team and report directly to the Vice President, General Manager with a dotted line to the SVP, Operations.  Manage the forecasts and budgets associated with the Event Management team as well as the team’s operational success for flawless delivery of its programs.  Meet profit standards as outlined by leadership on each of its programs and communicate any and all challenges that may impact profit in a timely manner. Other responsibilities will include: develops and implements a team operations plan that is closely aligned with organizational goals, manages and participates in the development and execution of the overarching strategic direction of the division. Ensures operational leadership and adherence to the strategic plan, budgets responsibility for department associated with corporate expenses and individual show expenses, participates in pitch development & delivery.

    We are currently seeking an Event Manager to manage and drive all aspects of client and industry events for Twitter’s Sales Marketing organization. The Event Manager will report to the Sales Marketing Events Manager. The ideal candidate thrives in an organizational environment that is fast-paced, innovative, collaborative and low-ego, and can operate effectively at all levels – from strategy and execution to big picture ideas --with attention to the details.  Candidates should have a strong and successful track record of producing advertiser and industry events from conception through to post-event KPI analysis.


    Project Manager, Events – KQED (Apply Here)

     

    The Project Manager, Events creates, develops and executes events, meetings and related activities for the Development Division and ensures they are closely integrated into the overall annual fundraising plan.  The Project Manager, Events will report to the Director, Annual Major Gifts and will also work in collaboration with Gift Planning and Foundations departments. This position has ultimate responsibility for developing and implementing an annual proactive, strategic event plan in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer, Senior Director of Leadership Gifts, and other Directors in the Development Division for acquisition, retention, and upgrading of major donors.  The range of events (up to 24 per year) will include small intimate receptions, lunches and dinners at KQED, KQED Silicon Valley, or in private homes, hotels and other venues, as well as one-on-one donor meetings at various locations.
