Gallery Provocateur, located at 1621 N Kedzie in a renovated Art Deco ballroom, is the antithesis to traditional galleries and is quite proud of such distinction. With a primary focus on figurative artwork, Gallery Provocateur reshapes the typical gallery experience by creating a venue that seamlessly meets the needs of cutting edge, contemporary works while referencing dark, romantic allusions to history. The ambiance is somewhere between a classy opium den and a 19th century salon in Logan Square.

We welcome you to a new revolution in art, expression and fantasy. Gallery Provocateur offers a unique neo-classical setting for receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, meetings and private events. The contemporary artworks displayed at the gallery provide a colorful background to any special occasion.
With our trendy location and ease of access, the 16 foot high ceilings (complete with tin ceiling and moldings) and inviting space create the perfect canvas.

Capacity for seated dinner is 50, standing cocktail party 300. Textured walls, baroque styling and a rich curtained environment provide a lovely backdrop for your private party.

Our staff can help you create an event that is unique, memorable, and surprisingly affordable. The gallery is run by a special events planner and an award winning chef.

Gallery Provocateur is a not for profit gallery dedicated to promoting the arts and giving back to the art community with a low commission rate and nominal fees.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of $200.00 is required by the venue owner.
